History. Is it relevant anymore?

I believe that history is relevant today more than ever before.

I've always like history, especially American history. I particularly like to read about past U.S. Presidents. Another subject that has been of interest to me is anything to do with Great Britain and the Royal Family.

Fortunately, one of my son's loves history. He would rather sit down with some sort of history book than do most things, like play video games. We have one son that is probably going to be a scientist...that boy loves anything to do with science. Then there's our daughter....she is a girly-girl who loves lip gloss, getting ready to go shopping, purses, shoes, etc.

Sorry, I got off subject. My point with all of this is we can learn a lot from history. We can learn how things "used to be" but we can also learn some mistakes that were made and try not to make them again.

In our stores we have some great books that look at history on many subjects. From John F. Kennedy to how a storekeeper ran his business.

Take a look at all of our stores. You can find the links at the top of this blog and you can click on the scroll window at the bottom of the blog to see some books as well.

We offer new books, used books, and a few other things as they become available.
